It is important to know how pollution affects our lives even though we may not be able to see the pollution. Through this project, students will learn about how pollution travels through our water supply. Using the Groundwater Contamination Lab Kit, the students will be able to see for themselves how pollution can affect their drinking water. They will learn about different units of measure that the EPA uses to access whether or not the water is safe to use. The students will observe the simulated contamination passing through a simulated water supply and learn how pollution affects water quality.
