My students are a unique group of young adults. They are each finding their place in this world as they discover who they are. 8th grade is a big transition year before they are off to high school! Students will be able to make connections to the characters as they master numerous literature standards along the way. So many students can find a reflection of themselves in The Outsiders. I would love to be able to give each of my students that experience! This book will fit perfectly with our essential question, "What makes you, you?" as students journey through this coming of age novel together.
