Because of COVID, my students and I got used to learning online. Due to the pandemic, they were able to use chrome books to dive into developing their tech skills. I started making videos to engage them in math content. The videos were silly at times but ultimately students came to class looking forward to them. Many students expressed interest in learning to make their own videos! Unfortunately, with the chrome books they have, it is nearly impossible to edit a video with effects and music. This MacBook will enable to the students to develop their tech skills and have a place to practice their video editing skills. It will also allow me to keep making videos to engage my at-home learners.
