The harsh fluorescent lights of the classroom often cause students to get headaches and struggle to focus. I want to be able to turn those overhead lights off and have enough other lighting to keep them focused and engaged while also promoting a calm environment. The lamps will help provide enough light that the students won't struggle to see their work without the harsh overhead lights, and the LED lights will help bring energy into the classroom.
Alternative lights and decorations on the walls will help them focus and feel like they are in a safe and encouraging environment when they are here at school.
The TeachersPayTeachers gift card will help me gain more access to online resources that can be used for their remote learning days at home.
