The stackable storage container will house all of the desk pets and their food like a "pet shop or store" for students to select from after they have earned enough punches from their punch cards. The students will receive a punch on their card for completing task, being kind to one another, and showing good behavior. Students will be rewarded throughout the week. On Friday they will get the opportunity to turn in their punch cards in return for food for their pets. The small clear plastic storage boxes will be the habitats for the desk pets. The 3D animal erasers will be selected by students as their very own desk pets. The mini food erasers will be selected by students for their desk pets to individualize their desk pet’s habitat. They are also going to write in journals about their pets and how they earned items for their pets.
This project not only helps with classroom behavior but also with math, writing, and reading. We would be so thankful if this project is funded, it sounds like so much fun!
