These periodicals will bring current events right to the classroom. We will be able to have class discussions, enhance our reading skills, and learn new information about many topics. The students love to watch the videos that go along with the articles in the magazine. Scholastic News will support the high needs students, and challenge others to become stronger readers. The current events allow for students to express their personal feelings and interests in topics that are making the news every day. The students are able to debate in the classroom, supporting their view with details that are provided to them in the article. Scholastic News has always been a great asset to the classroom.
