I am a kindergarten through fourth grade special education teacher at one of the most impacted elementary schools in Denver. My students have various diagnosed disabilities (primarily ADD, ADHD) which require them to take movement and/or calming breaks so that they can re-engage in the lessons and classroom activities.
Now that my school district is back in-person (hopefully for the remainder of the school year), I would love for my students to have access to movement and calming tools. These items will help them with their unique needs so that they can be successful from an academic and social/emotional standpoint.
