My goal with requesting a class set of the Hands-On Multiplication and Division Kit is that each student will be able to have their concrete manipulatives when working on our multiplication and division units.
Since my class is composed of remote learners, I noticed they have been having difficulty without the hands-on manipulatives we use everyday in school.
The items requested for this project will allow for my students to develop the conceptual understanding they need between the stages of the Concrete Representational Abstract (CRA) Math model. This will provide my students with the opportunity to have time offline practicing foundational math skills.
