In a year of virtual learning, hands-on projects bring connection, community and perseverance to our classroom. Already this year, we have learned so much through videos, conversations, demonstrations and reading. But diving into a project–to construct a solar race car–will give students the chance to apply their knowledge of energy systems.
Students will be given the opportunity to ask questions and with this kit they will have the tools and resources to construct a prototype–regardless of their economic situation. I believe this challenge will further connect our class's curious minds.
