During indoor recess, I pulled out Connect Four for the students to play. As they started to play, I enjoyed watching and listening to everything going on. In this short amount of time, I saw my students focused, stay on task, and best of all......Teamwork!!!! It was amazing to see my students play while unplugged, and having a great time. My students who are shy and quiet seemed to come out of their shell. For others it seemed to soothe their anxiety. It also gave students the ability to lose gracefully. The benefits of playing Connect Four was a complete success. I can't wait to get more games in the hands of my students.

About my class
