As a school psychologist in the Cleveland Metropolitan School District, I am primarily responsible for assessing student’s abilities to determine eligibility for special educations services. However, due to the lengthy learning disruption due to the COVID-19 pandemic, I am anticipating our younger students will be exhibiting significant academic and social delays when they return to in-person learning this school year. Therefore, I hope to provide small-group collaborative reading intervention instruction to our early readers. By using the larger 27-inch monitor, everyone in the group can participate and clearly see the lesson on the screen.
