These materials are to assist families with supplies and to continue supporting their child's development and creativity. Having materials to color and paint at home enables each child to work on the skills that we would be providing if the children were in school.
While in distance learning, not all families have access to the same materials we can provide in the school classroom.
These basic art supplies help provide opportunities for all families that we serve. While working with families on zoom, we often model a 3 to 4 step art project for the child to reproduce as we work on recall, motor, spacial awareness, prewriting and sequencing skills . Having the same materials to work with will present a more coherent example to follow.
