All of my students are working through behaviors that impede their learning. Often my students need a place to gather themselves and right now my classroom is lacking this. I really want my students to have an area to be able to work through their emotions. Facilitating this calm down area for them would encourage them to use their coping skills and take a break. They would be able to stay in the room and not have to leave like they are doing now because of the lack of a break area.
