The Apple iPad will allow me to be interactive with the students while we are doing math and ELA. In math, students will be able to work through problems with me while I am writing them out as we go on the iPad. It will also help with teaching my third graders how to annotate text. At home, they have their storybooks with them. So I will be able to annotate with them in real-time.
I love bringing technology into the classroom for students to use who may not have the privilege at home based on the low income school that I am in. When we return in person, the iPad will be used by the students as well as a reward. I will like to get each student on each day to encourage more reading, allowing students to listen to stories as well.
