The microscopes will allow for my students to see the vastness of the microbe world and learn how to use a microscope before leaving for higher education. Personally, I felt behind when I got to college because my school couldn't afford to have this equipment. It set me behind from others around me. I want my students to see the cells they're made of, to see the bacteria around them, and to hopefully get more interested in science. My students will use the microscopes from early middle school all the way to advanced biology in high school. Through the use of these microscopes, students will have skills to set them apart from others around them at the next level of education. Once they get to their next level of education, students in my class won't feel behind just because of where they went to high school. These microscopes will be a tremendous gift to my students!
