The materials will be used for learning from home. Using manipulatives during small groups and individual check-ins will help my students stay focused and actively engaged. In exploring learning activities with manipulatives, my students will be able to utilize many skill sets. They will be able to practice decision-making as they think about which tools to use and distinguish between weight, height, length, shape, and size of objects as they sort. They can explore patterns through sequencing, ordering, comparison, colors, and textures. They will be able to practice the concepts and theories they learn in virtual learning with their hands-on experience using the manipulatives.
