The materials in this project will allow my students a way to identify their feelings in a safe environment. . The items will be used in a whole group setting as well as one on one throughout the year.
The playdough mats, as well as the manipulatives that go along with the stories will help my students not only with identifying their feelings, but also with their language skills. Students will be able to put a name to their feelings, as well as develop coping skills for their big emotions.
