Digital art has been a challenge, but adding pens, oil pastels, and pencils for self-portraits will allow creativity. In class, we share art supplies, but we can't share them when working from home. Having good project pens, oil pastels, and graphite pencils will be a great asset for at-home learning.
Art helps students work their way through a very emotional and stressful time. Hands-on learning helps students get in touch with their surroundings and feelings and having the proper equipment at home will allow them to express themselves freely and not just digitally.
