As I teach in the South Central district of the LAUSD, the overwhelming majority of my students do not have personal listening devices, which is a major barrier to learning. I see students struggling to hear the lessons on their school-issued Chromebooks because they are in a home with excess noise or in a noisy outside environment. I've seen many of my students struggle because they cannot hear my words. If my kids can get headphones to help them pay attention, listen, and connect with a great education, it would be a monumental blessing to the world. I've seen many of my students struggle because they cannot hear my words.
