The littlest minds learn and grow with the environment they are surrounded by. With this Reading Tree, preschoolers in my classroom will build friendships, learn and engage in reading, explore the sciences, sensory, and arts. It also will help to create a calm, inviting area for children to expand their minds. The Reading Tree will also be used for circle time and large group activities. On this tree are strategically placed holes in the leaves where I can place seasonal artwork to help children learn about the different seasons.
Bringing nature and science into a classroom helps children to relieve stress, focus and engage, develop more self-discipline, and promotes social connections and creativity.
