We are 100% virtual right now and I plan on making Read Aloud videos for my students to refer back and listen to after actually read these books aloud in person over Zoom. Introducing math in a story strengthens math and language skills. My students are 6th and 7th graders are striving to learn and love math. Stories such as these will introduce my students to a variety of math concepts and ideas. I will use them in class when are together again also. Students of all ages benefit from read aloud.
