Now that my students are back to an in person learning model I am excited to do more hands on learning for my students. In a covid world this requires lots of bins, trays, and racks to keep things neat and separate so we can spend less time sanitizing between students and more time learning. Book bins will allow us to use more hands on books instead of falling back on digital resources. For children just starting their reading journey this is vital.
Morning meeting and calendar time is an essential part of our day. I've included a calendar and daily circle time center that is hands on and easy to sanitize so students can be actively engaged learners instead of passive listeners. This sets us up for a successful day!
