The journals will help the students express themselves and share what they may not openly share to others. Journaling is also a great way for the student to get out their feelings. Being in middle school is tough and if they have an outlet to express their middle school experience it will help them cope with everything that is middle school. Having their own journal vs just a standard spiral notebook will make it special and more meaningful to write in. This is why I need your help in giving them their own journal.
