The use of Boardmaker will give our students access to the visuals that they need to succeed throughout the day, the visuals that they need to assist them in communicating what they want and need through the creation of first-then boards, visual schedules, token boards, and other communication boards. By donating to our project, you will be assisting our students with both their communication AND their academic achievement! How can students benefit from this academically? By utilizing the pictures in boardmaker, I can further give our students visual options for answering comprehension questions when reading stories. I will also utilize ink cartridges to print these boards, and velcro to put these boards together.
