Currently we are 100% face to face in school. My students will benefit from very hands-on learning with some everyday type items. We'll be able to build edible DNA, perform some genetic tests and then use the dice to determine probability of different genes being present.
Students love to move around and certainly are more engaged when they are involved physically. Students especially enjoy topics that pertain to them personally like their own DNA and genetics.
Thank you for this opportunity for my students to do more than sit at a computer or watch some PowerPoint presentation.
