My students often have difficulties staying in their seats for learning. These "flexible seating" options give them a way to "move and groove" while being able to stay at their seat to complete their work and tasks. Giving these students the ability to bounce, rock, and move greatly increases their sensory needs and often provides them with a much better learning environment and experience. There has been much research on movement and learning and I want to put it to action in my classroom. My students require many "extras" in order to help them be successful. I believe this project will help my students be even more of the rockstars they truly are.
