These books will help me, as the school counselor, teach students the social and emotional skills they may not have received at home in order to be productive members of society.
I use bibliotherapy to reach kids in a fun and interesting way to stimulate thinking and problem-solving skills as well as skills such as building relationships, personal hygiene, communication skills, and interpersonal responsibility.
By having these books in my social/emotional counseling library, I will be able to help my students understand and learn many necessary skills they will need for the future.
