With a kitchen set, children can let their imagination flow as they take on different roles of a household. In the dramatic play area, it gives kids a space to learn through play and shadow their parents. Some children unfortunately experience homelessness and don't get to eat in their own kitchen. They can pretend to cook, they can dress up, or they can clean the floors.
This area would be designed for promoting healthy eating and family routines at meal time. It would also be a start of being responsible and in control of their personal space.
