Being able to learn and apply the use of every day tools, such as the Instant Pot, to my students' cooking lives will help them be able to become more independent after graduation.
The Instant Pot will help them learn how to prepare healthy, more flavorful food in less time, especially if they are going to college. We currently only have 40 minutes for our class period and this would be a great experience for students to learn what full, delicious and healthy meals they can prepare during that time frame.
