Both Prisoners of Geography and Silk Roads are renowned books for students to understand World History and connect with their world. I have spent time on both of these books. They are extremely creditable sources to teach high schoolers about human connections over time and the need to understand how geography shapes our cultures and societies! These materials will make a difference because these books take what is already in place, maps, and roads and explain how these connect to the world they live in, which is an important connection for them!

About my class
