The majority of the students in my class are coming from online, transitioning into a traditional learning environment and, this is difficult for them. Many of my students are starving and unable to focus before lunch, so snacks help hold them over until lunchtime. Some students rely on food provided by the school. I like to make sure that my students do not have to worry about going without "fuel."
In my class, we use treats as manipulatives for math and teachings of goods and services for social studies. I love when my students learn without realizing that they are learning or love the lesson so much that they do not want to move on. Overall, I have great students.
