The materials will help my students explore their tactile sense. Many students fear to have dirty hands. This washable material allows my students to continue to develop their fine motor skills along with fostering their sensory play. The washable sensory material allows me to re use it between my morning and afternoon class, benefiting both classes.
Cleanliness in the classroom, is crucial during our C19 global pandemic. I will be able to create individual bins for my students to explore daily. They will be using the material to explore tactilely to find alphabet letters and a variety of objects related to our Spring Themes. Explorations of objects helps tactile learners develop and increase their vocabulary related to the topic.
