During this Pandemic time we are searching for ways to keep our students motivated with exercise and in being healthy. It is a challenge for students to exercise in the classroom, especially during these times because they are socially distant throughout the school day. We will use these exercise balls in our self space, within the classroom, in a variety of ways. We can do Cardio Drumming and other rhythmic activities, exercises that increase lumbar (low back) mobility and abdominal and back muscle strength. We will also do activities to increase balance and stability and develop overall control and strength of the core body muscles.
With your support, we can get our students on the right track of being motivated to exercise and reap the benefits of being healthy, through rhythmic activities and strength building. The best part is students will continue to benefit from this program even after Pandemic times. Teaching the students the importance of staying in shape is the key to their healthy futures.
