Through pediatric publications, we have learned that play allows children to use their creativity while developing their imagination and physical, cognitive, and emotional strength. Play is important to healthy brain development. It is through play that children at a very early age engage and interact in the world around them.
Donations to this project will enhance my students’ problems solving and flexible thinking skills. During this time when many students spend extra time around screens, it is important to allow time for physical and creative play. Playtime encourages students to continue exploring their own interests and build skills they will use in the future. Along with building skills, play is Happiness! Kids are smiling, laughing, being silly, or generally feeling cozy and at ease. The additional supplies and activities will bring excitement and joy to our daily routine.
