Students learn best when they feel a connection with their school community: their campus, friends, and teachers. Embracing a more holistic approach to "a'o"(teaching and learning) is very Hawai'ian.
"Breaking bread" and "talking story" is an investment in social emotional learning. Adolescents love food. Here is a chance to support teachers who are supporting their students and the environment. These reusable and biodegradable sporks, utensils, plates, and containers will allow students and staff to share a meal or snack while recognizing their contribution to "malama 'aina"(take care of the earth)!
