One of my class's favorite weekly activities is when we work on art. Due to them working from home, we have been limited to drawing projects due to supplies. I would like to sent some art supplies home to them so that they can work with watercolor, blend with oil pastels and practice art in the styles of the artists we study.
Art allows them to see the world around them in a different light, and would bring a part of the classroom home with them. In addition to learning about the master artists, it also breathes new life and excitement into what we read and study in language arts.
