Nevada Reading Week鈥檚 theme is 鈥淐hange Your World.鈥 Looking at the books to match this theme made me realize my library needs current, diverse, and relevant books that match the diverse students who read them. These 21 books will provide my library with books that will inspire kids to know that anyone can change the world....not just those with specific privileges. Every book shows amazing humans from diverse backgrounds and how they changed the world through music, science, kindness/hope, and especially with words. I hope these biographies will create tiny little agents for change!
