Our class is currently 100% distance learning, and this project would provide each scholar a personal copy of Blood on the River. As part of our American Revolution unit students will be able to read the book at home, instead of reading online, or listening to an audio book. There are a plethora of skills that will be addressed during this unit study, such as, vocabulary, summarizing, annotating, note taking, and character development. I'm excited to get actual books in their hands, and for my students to be able to turn pages, and feel paper between their fingers again! Distance learning has been complicated in many ways, but especially for literature studies.
