With these art supplies, we will have a chance to complete beautiful artwork even while students are learning from home.
Art stimulates the brain, encourages creative thinking, and enhances problem solving skills.
After learning about a certain theme/topic every week and writing about it, we will be doing an art print every Friday to match that topic. Upcoming themes include plants and insects. Painting flowers, creating symmetrical butterflies, and creating chalk pastel insects with their body parts labeled (head, thorax, abdomen, etc.) are just a few of the many breathtaking pieces my students will make.
They missed out on so many kindergarten experiences. They still come to class so excited to learn, and have learned so much in regards to technology, as well as learning the curriculum. Being on the computer all day can be really draining for adults and kids alike. Art will give them hands-on activities and will give them something to look forward to. It will also reduce stress and provide a sense of accomplishment. A win for everyone!
