My students are interested in the creations of characters as well as the makeup and costume design. Activities will allow students to personally create characters that can be transformed into a visual representation. These supplies will allow my students to see FX makeup up close and personally create characters that can come to life through the my visual demonstrations and applications. We will watch behind the scenes edits, professional recordings, analyze characters in regards to design process making, and students will design the characters in their own visions. These supplies will give students the most hands-on resources to be able to learn design by a more tangible and realistic form. The face paints will allow me to transform into the visual design that the students created collaboratively. The art books will help aid in teaching the necessary steps and precautions one may need when applying face paints and adhesives.
