Teaching Spanish and English over the last 30 years has been an amazing journey allowing me the opportunity to grow as person along with my students. I am the Team Leader of our small World Language department and directly responsible for about 200 students per year. The requested resources are so different than materials from previous years for language learning. They put students in the moment and living the lesson in the language.
Our most challenging issue this year is the digitalization of our resources. I am building a virtual program that will support remote learning as well as in person students. I am requesting the TeachersPayTeachers gift card to purchase materials vital to a strong Spanish language program. We find ourselves in dire need of materials such as these that are updated, innovative and creative.
