At the peak of the Covid-19 in 2020 we were asked to go home and teach online. Online instruction was a learning curve for teachers, and part of classroom management meant using specific settings on our video conference platforms. I learned to use a program called PearDeck I could see all of their work, but I needed a second screen. That was when one of my teacher friend’s said I should post my project to Donors Choose, and soon it became funded. Months later we return to in-class instruction. The first couple of weeks were so tense. The new challenge, my students' mental health. My second project to help create a more peaceful and accepting environment the request was soft bulletin colors and positive posters. New goals for my classes are: to make Spanish valuable by doing projects that give them real world experiences, and fun by having them do more handmade activities.
