During the summer, parents who could afford it, purchased several school supplies for their children. One such item that most of my students, who are in special education, could not afford was a separate keyboard for their school-provided laptop.
Useful both in the classroom and at home, each of my students would greatly benefit from the use of a separate keyboard because it would allow each student to place the laptop at eye level, reducing stress on the neck and shoulders. Eliminating this stress in their lives will help them be successful in all of their classes, not just Math.
