My fourth and fifth grade students are struggling to gain their footing in math and science. The pandemic created a lot of learning losses for my students. It is my desire to mitigate this learning losses by using a technology based curriculum. 4% of my students are on grade level. This makes 96% of my students below grade level.
To close the gap our district has purchased computer based programs. However, for my students to be focused and complete each lesson to the best of their ability I need to minimize the distractions from other computers. The headphones will keep them focused on their lessons. They would not be distracted by their neighbor's computers.
We try complete a lesson a day, a total of 45 minutes per week. I encourage my students to aim for a 75% score on each lesson. The headphones will be a great help in them achieving their goal, because there will be less distractions.
Thanks for your generous donation.
