Here at our middle school, students are able to take advanced math courses that allow 8th-grade students to take Geometry. This means they have completed a 7th-grade math course and Algebra 1 during 6th and 7th grade. How impressive!
Our limited mathematics budget does not allow for us to purchase a bulk set of calculators and our students are not expected to pay for school materials other than the basics, such as notebooks and writing utensils. Hopefully, we can get a nice classroom set that will last for the next several years!
