2020-21 the year of Remote Learning! It would be very helpful for this FLL team that is just starting out with mainly 5th graders to have the resources to build their design and building skills. With access to enough kits, these students will have the foundation for great engineering skills and will the skills necessary to be competitive year over year.
Our school of 850 students is a high performing neighborhood school that believes that it is important to challenge and broaden our students' minds. I have personally taken on the mission of exposing as many students to as many aspects of technology as possible. Since I joined our elementary school eight years ago, I have sponsored LEGO robotics teams that were funded by the Dept of Navy (NXT and EV3), Underwater Robotics teams funded by the Shedd Aquarium / Motorola Solutions, and now First LEGO League!
Thank you!
