I have a classroom for students with specific behavior needs. I am creating a camp themed classroom with various calming areas. One area is a lake. I will utilize the inflatable pillow to help the student imagine floating or fishing in our "lake." Another area is a camping site with tents, the log stools will be used as seating for the camping site. I will also use the stools for our daily Meeting around the campfire. The log sensory walk fits with the theme and give the students a movement activity. The fort/tent builders will give the students a chance to work together to create their own calming campsites in the room. The sensory animals will be used to also help calm a child through aromas and textures.
