Teachers are often looking for ways for their students to move and explore throughout the day. These sensory tools will be available in either a Multi-Sensory Environment for students to visit or through a check-out system for teachers to borrow items to bring into their classroom.
These items will allow students to regulate their sensory systems to be able to best attend and learn in the classroom. These items will provide activities involving movement (swing and stepping stones), pressure/weight (peapod chair and heavy ropes), and touch (theraputty) for our students who need this type of input throughout the day. The light projector helps to set a calming tone within the room.
