Hello, We are starting a book club on campus. The first book we are choosing to read is called "Rain of Gold" which is a book that many of our students can connect to for several reasons. I live in a low income community where Covid has greatly impacted our families on so many levels. We are creating clubs and outlets to help our students during the Pandemic. We are starting a self care series where we help students with self care activities such as reading, painting, dance, gardening, etc. This particular club is focusing on community and reading. We are hoping to help students connect to us an one another once again after being isolated for several months. We have 30 students already signed up for the Book Club and are very excited to start reading and connecting with one another. Please help! Thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts.
