The items I have chosen for Pre-K will assist him/her with developing knowledge of alphabet letters and sounds. The resources will be useful because they will provide each child a chance to learn through a hands-on strategy.
One example of how I will use the alphabet puppets is during a whole group lesson. First, the teacher will allow two students to hold an alphabet puppet that represents different letters. Next, the teacher will give the rest of the students picture cards for each letter. Last, the students go stand by the student holding the puppet letter that matches the beginning sound of their picture card.
